Due to airspace closures caused by the conflict in Iran, our Hungarian travellers were stranded on the island of Bali for a while after completing their round trip. Since they found themselves in this situation, they decided to make good use of their time by collecting litter on the beach.
With this gesture, the group wanted to express their gratitude for the kindness and hospitality of the Balinese people. Their initiative also inspired local residents, who joined the Hungarian team, and together they cleaned up the coast. They made the best of an unfortunate situation: they did their part for our planet and the environment, while it also served as a perfect example of how we have more in common than what divides us.
